What to Avoid: Five Tips for Extending the Useful Life of Foodservice Equipment

By FE&S Staff -- Foodservice Equipment & Supplies, 6/16/2008 10:00:00 AM

In addition to following the recommendations and requirements provided by the manufacturer, operators can take a number of steps on their own to ensure a piece of equipment has a long and useful service life. But just as important as knowing what to do is realizing which steps to avoid when working with a specific piece of equipment. • Neglecting filter changes
• Improper application or use
• Operating equipment with frayed, burned power cords or exposed wiring
• Operating any equipment without knowing proper operation and use as outlined in the Owners Manual
